Wherein three sisters make album number three whilst perfecting their approach. From the impeccable arrangement of super-single "Summer Girl" to the dynamite delivery of "The Steps" to the lyrical finesse of album cuts like "I've Been Down," all the pieces that sometimes appeared disjointed on previous outings arrive seamless on Haim's latest and bestest album. One might well toss around the word "maturity," but it's the at-times exuberant immaturity that enlivens this song set focused around depression, heartbreak, and loss.
